Parkside Mandalay Playground, Easey Road, Beveridge
An interesting and well equipped playground with a pump track, big basketball court with metal soccer nets at each end, huge roof with three big tables, Ned Kelly inspired BBQs, two unshaded tables, water tap, toilets and grassy area.
The playground is split on two levels. At the top level is a big concrete volcano in a sandpit. The volcano has steps, climbing holds and steep slide. There is a big balance log across the sandpit. On the side of the sandpit is a two level tower with lots of ladders of different types to get to the top. Also a birds nest swing at this level.
Steps lead down to the lower level where there is a very nice climbing wall, see-saw, little wave side, springer, spinning disk, another birds nest swing, two standard swings, fireman's pole and water play area with two hand pumps, channels and sluice gate.
