Northcote Public Golf Course (Thornbury)

Northcote Public Golf Course is a nine hole public golf course featuring grassy greens, gently rolling hills, challenging bunkers and tight fairways.

Featuring well established and maintained, tree lined fairways with creeks running through and bordering combined with well bunkered greens, accuracy is essential. In close proximity of wetlands, with its associated bird-life, provide an oasis within inner Melbourne while giving golfers a test of their skills.

Northcote Public Golf Course boasts a challenging 9 hole setup. With 12 bunkers there is plenty of variety to keep your short game at peak as well as a myriad of fairway grading. The first hole takes you on a steady decent into the hidden away wonder of the course and eventually leads its way up to the challenging steep ascent of the final hole.

Further to the course at Northcote Public Golf Course, facilities include a well stocked Proshop, large club rooms and practice green. In addition to this Northcote Public Golf Course hosts resident PGA Professional Golf Instructor; Daniel Waters, with coaching available most weekdays as well as weekends.

Recently Footgolf has been added to the course adding a fun hybrid of Golf and Soccer to the course, perfect for the entire family. The objective of the game is to kick the soccer ball into an enlarged target hole in a golf course setting. It will take about an hour to complete a round of FootGolf (9 holes) for 2 people.
