Moorabbin Magic Basketball Club (East Bentleigh)

The Moorabbin Magic Basketball Club is a community based club offering players of all abilities a place to play basketball in a fun, friendly and inclusive environment. We believe in ensuring that all our players are given opportunities to develop not only their basketball skills but the fundamentals of respect, sportsmanship and good teamwork. We want our players to play with their friends and to make new friends along the way.

Teams at Moorabbin Magic play in the McKinnon Basketball Association Domestic Competition at venues including GESAC and local schools. There are two domestic seasons per year. The Summer season runs from Term 4 to Term 1 and the Winter season runs from Term 2 to Term 3. The competition caters for players of all abilities from Under 10 to Under 20 with boys' matches held on Saturdays and girls' on Sundays.

Moorabbin Magic runs indoor training sessions from Monday to Thursday primarily out of Coatesville Primary School after 6.00pm. When available we also conduct training at Jump Central and McKinnon Secondary College.

For players younger than 7 who are keen to start their basketball career, we recommend that they try the McKinnon Basketball Association's Aussie Hoops and Slam Jam programs.

Moorabbin Magic is run by passionate and committed volunteer committee members, coaches, team managers and co-ordinators. If you would like to help Magic be the best club it can be we would love to hear from you.
