Montrose Tennis Club

Located in Montrose Recreation Reserve and with the beautiful Dandenong Ranges as the backdrop, Montrose Tennis Club is the largest tennis club in the Yarra Ranges Shire. Montrose is a very progressive club that is a place where the whole family can be involved together.

Montrose Tennis Club was established in 1907 and has a proud history in the area. Our members, numbering in excess of 200, enjoy using our modern and well maintained courts (comprising 4 en-tout-cas courts and 3 Euroclay courts), lights and other facilities, in a scenic and friendly semi-rural environment that includes a popular adventure playground.

With coaching for all ages available, combined with a variety of competition options, our club offers something for everyone.

For juniors, we offer Hot Shots through to high level competition in a safe, fun, friendly, family environment. Not only will your children have a fantastic time playing outdoors with others their age, but, most importantly, it will help them develop social interaction, fitness, co-ordination and overall well being as well as the aspects of respect and etiquette that tennis demands.

For seniors we offer coaching, but we also provide you with the opportunity of playing one of only a handful of sports that can be played well into your prime of life.

For social players, we have mid week and Saturday afternoon social play which is very popular, so please come and check this out.

Competition and Social Tennis
The club offers many opportunities in both competitive and social tennis to suit your tennis abilities. Our busy schedule includes:

Night tennis competition every Monday to Thursday
Ladies social tennis every Tuesday morning
Mid-week ladies competition on Thursdays
Junior ERT competition on Saturday mornings
Senior ERT competition on Saturday afternoons
Social tennis Saturday afternoons
Pennant competition on Sundays

Coaching
Graeme Hill (Head Start Tennis) is the Montrose Tennis Club Head Coach and has implemented coaching programs that cater for all ages, standards and abilities. Programs include Juniors, Fast Fit Cardio and Holiday Programs.
