Monier Way Playground, Herne Hill
The playground area stretches along the path for about 100 m. At the southern end is a big mound with tunnel, cube climbing frame with rope nets, horizontal bar and Roman rings, three concrete pipes filled with with sand, balance bar, birds nest swing, two standard swings, log steppers and a climbing frame with metal slide, tunnel, bridge and net. This area has toilets, unshaded seat and water tap.
50 m to the north is a big shelter with two tables, BBQs and water tap. Next to the shelter is a circular sandpit with digger.
Another 30m to the north is a gym / play area with a birds nest swing using a car tyre for a seat, another big mound with tunnel, equipment with high arched monkey bars, fireman's pole, rope net bridge, sit-up bench and pull-up bars (2x).
There are lots of opportunities for bike riding among all the equipment including tunnels.
