Meridian Central Reserve Playground, Portobello Boulevard, Clyde North
A tall tower with a big twisting tunnel slide and smaller tunnel slide which are reached by a combination of steps and inclined walkways. The internals and outside of the tower have some interesting play items.
Beside the tower is a play area for younger kids with a soft mound with ledges to climb up to a rope bridge to get across to a platform with slide, climbing wall and rope ladder. The area also has steppers, percussion pipes to hit to make sounds and an unshaded table.
There's a fantastic large ninja warrior course, outdoor gym with some interesting equipment, free public tennis court, basketball court and big grassy area.
The playground area has a shelter with three tables and unshaded BBQs, water tap and toilets. There is also a shelter with two tables and BBQs and water tap next to the basketball court.
