Next to the car park is a playground and bin. Nearby is a shelter with table, BBQ and water tap with bowl.

Head to the east keeping Steele Creek on your right hand side. On the east side of the reserve there is a border from the fences of neighbouring houses. Follow the grassy strip beside the creek. There is long uncut grass beside the creek. It opens up to a huge grassy area dotted with some trees on the side. After 550m you reach a spot where there are some rocks you can use to get across to the other side of the creek and take the Steele Creek Trail to get back to the carpark.

On the west side of the trail is a water tap with a bowl and a huge grassy area. Follow the trail for another 200m and there is another large grassy expanse on the east side of the trail. Keep an eye open for painted art poles. The trail then joins Keilor Road where you can turn east back to the car park.
