East Ringwood Reserve Dog Off Leash Area (Ringwood East)

The reserve is a dog off leash area except for the main oval which is located next to the Maroondah Sports Club. To the north of the main oval there is another secondary oval set at a lower level which is less well maintained than the main oval and is surrounded by areas of grass with trees. The area between the two ovals, near the cricket nets, has a water tap and someone has placed a plastic container next to the tap so that dogs can have a drink. There is a very basic fenced playground and toilets (locked when we visited) with interesting artwork on the walls.

There are two entrances to the reserve, one off Mines Road and the other off Mount Dandenong Road. There are bins in a number of locations including the car park off Mines Road and it is requested not to put doggy bags in the bins near the Sports Club which is a spectator area for sporting events. There is also another water tap without a bowl near the Sports Club.
