Banyan Reserve Dog Off Leash Area (Carrum Downs)

Banyan Reserve Dog Off Leash Area (Carrum Downs)

Banyan Reserve covers eight hectares and contains a Melbourne Water retarding basin. There is a playground, unshaded table, huge tree stump to explore and a bin plus a grassy area dotted with trees in the area south of the pavilion (with locked toilets) near the car parking area.

In the middle of the reserve is an oval. To the east of the oval is a school which is fenced off and to the north is a large grassy area. The west side has the Banyan Reserve Retarding Basin which forms a wetlands area with lots of water birds. Overall there isn't a lot of shade in the reserve and there isn't a water tap.
