Victoria Park Dog Off Leash Area (Kew)

Victoria Park Dog Off Leash Area (Kew)

The park which is in the shape of a triangle is very large and each side is around 400m long. There are two ovals, three playgrounds (one at each corner of the triangle), Victoria Park Tennis Club, Kew Tennis Club and Kew Croquet Club.

At the south end is a small playground, water tap with bowl, shelter, BBQs, basketball court, bins and tables plus a great tree for the kids to climb in.

The ovals are fenced but do have some gaps.

The north east corner has a playground with a large slide, shelter with two tables, BBQ and water tap with bowl in the middle of a largish grassy area dotted with shady trees.

The northern border of the park is busy High Street, the eastern border is Adeney Avenue which is fairly quiet and the western border is Boroondara General Cemetery which is dead quiet.

The north west corner has a playground with a swing which occupies the entire grassy area - avoid this corner. There is a pavilion beside the north most oval which has toilets and a water tap with bowl. There are bins throughout the park.
