King Street Dog Off Leash Area (Balwyn)

The off leash area is from Gordon Street to King Street which is a distance of 360m. At the west end along King Street there is a bin. The path leads directly to a playground where the path splits to the left (a short distance to Ropley Avenue) and to the right (this is the longer path to Gordon Street). Near the playground there are unshaded seats and a water tap where someone has placed a dog bowl. Dogs are prohibited from entering the playground area and must be on-leash within 10m of the playground area.

The gravel path leads through a grassy area with large, grand trees. There is a water tap with a bowl beside the path. Fences of neighbouring houses border this grassy strip and there are seats beside the path. When you reach Gordon Street there is a bin.
