Belmont Reserve Dog Off Leash Area (Montmorency)

Belmont Reserve Dog Off Leash Area (Montmorency)

There are two places along Belmont Crescent which provide access to the park. There is an access path beside #25 and #49. The reserve is grassy and dotted with trees. There are clumps of wildflowers in spring. No bins or water tap.

Belmont Reserve is home to a number of significant orchid species such as the Nodding Green Hood (Pterostylis nutans) and the Blunt Green Hood (Pterostylis curta). Resident Tawny Frogmouths (Podargus strigoides) nest in the Yellow Box (Eucalyptus melliodora) and Candlebark (Eucalyptus rubida) trees located in the reserve.
