There is a small carpark near the corner of Lower Heidelberg Road and The Boulevard. A path leads down from the carpark to a playground with a bin, unshaded tables and a water tap where someone has placed a metal bowl.
There is a big steep bank which protects from dogs wandering onto busy Lower Heidelberg Road. There is a big grassy area dotted with trees.
At the bottom of the reserve is the Darebin Creek Trail where dogs must be on-leash. They also need to be on-leash in the area beside the creek.
