Rabbit Hole Play Centre (Braybrook)

The Rabbit Hole Play Centre in Braybrook in western Melbourne is being touted as the biggest play centre in the Southern Hemisphere.

There are arts and crafts, climbing, crawling and lots of creative activities. The centre is fully air-conditioned. The objective was to create the ultimate indoor playcentre, one which provides both active play and imagination-based activities in a safe, bright and friendly environment.

The following photos show some of the elements which have been created.

Overall views showing the different zones. Dive into Sea World on the left or Forest World on the right, where you can take your kids on an imaginary jungle tour or pretend to be archaeologists looking for dinosaur bones.

There is a "Carnival" big tent which is going to be used as a stage. Think magic shows, hosting story time with a local library or just a place where your kids can perform their own imaginative shows.

Kids will come down this slide and landing into thousands of clear balls that change colour with the light above. That's cool...

There is going to be a cooking school area where kids can learn how to prepare and cook food which can assist with developing fine motor and sensory skills. In the Cooking School, kids will learn those basic skills and safety tips all whilst preparing delicious meals that they can enjoy afterwards - I can't wait for our kids to make their first pizza for me. Parties in the cooking school can cater for a variety of ages and skill levels.

The walls are covered with beautiful images designed to take you out of Melbourne and into an entirely different world.

A view of some of the fun slides - minus the rampaging kids!

Can you bring your own food and drink in? ADMIN - No, there is an on-site café and as per other play centres you can't bring in your own food.
