Cyril Curtain Reserve Dog Off Leash Area (Williamstown)

Cyril Curtain Reserve Dog Off Leash Area (Williamstown)

The off leash area stretches for 800m along the foreshore from Hatt Reserve, opposite Gifford Street, to the back if the Williamstown Cricket Ground (Burbank Oval).

There is a dog on leash, shared use path which runs between the reserve and the road (Esplanade).

There are a few area where you need to beware of snakes in summer and dogs are not permitted in the wetlands area at the back of the Cricket Ground, which is fenced off.

The reserve is mostly grassy and bordered by scrubby vegetation next to the water. There are some trees dotted about and plenty of tables throughout the reserve. There are plenty of options to walk the dog in the reserve - you can either follow the grassy areas closer to the road or take the adventure route along the rocks and bushes on the foreshore.

There is a bin and water tap with bowl immediately west of the Cricket Ground, at the end of the Esplanade. There are bins stationed at regular intervals along the Esplanade.
