Dendy Park Dog Off Leash Area (Brighton East)

Dendy Park Dog Off Leash Area (Brighton East)

The park is huge and you might need to pack provisions and a compass to find your way back to the carpark.

The north east area is occupied by tennis courts and bowling club and is not an off leash area.

Immediately south is a huge grassy area with a row of five soccer fields fringed by a line of trees. On the east side, beside Cummins Road, is a basic playground.

In the south east corner, along Cummins Road, is an area of gum trees with tan bark on most of the ground. There is a bin in the far corner of this area. The south side of the fields has a grassy area with trees.

There are plenty of entry points to the park with car parking available. Apart from the fields there are a range of other grassy areas for dogs to run around. There are also plenty of bins scattered about.

To the north is a nice fenced playground under shade sails with toilets located next to an oval. This whole area is a dog on leash area.

Note that dogs are not allowed within 20 metres of an organised sporting event.
