Arbourton Park Playground, Muster Drive, Aintree

Arbourton Park Playground, Muster Drive, Aintree

A fun playground which is dominated by a huge bug like creature. To get into the innards of this bug either climb a high ladder or up a rope tunnel. To get out and down, head for the sloping rubber mat slide. Running around the playground from the feet of the over-sized bug is a long traverse with spiders web rope climbing frame, single rope traverse, stepping logs, rope bridge, monkey bars, double rope bridge, balance beams, stepping disks, hanging disks and an elevated horizontal rope net. There area number of vertical logs with climbing holds, small birds nest swing and a structure with lots of climbing opportunities and a wave slide.

There are nice vegetated mounds with rock and log obstacles to overcome in order to cross them and four standard swings.

There are plenty of facilities with two shelters with tables and BBQs, unshaded tables, water tap, small outdoor gym, unshaded seats and a grassy area with soccer goals.

The playground can be reached by turning right into Muster Drive at the roundabout next to the first playground along Woodlea Boulevard. Follow Muster Drive down and you will see the playground straight ahead. This playground can be enjoyed by kids of all ages.
