Kaniva - Lions Club Fauna and Wetlands Park

The Lions Club Fauna and Wetlands Park has a variety of animals including kangaroos, wallabies, emus, deer, guinea fowl and peacocks and birds such as red-tailed black cockatoos, king parrots, regent parrots and western rosellas in the aviaries.

The wetlands area is home to a varying population of waders and waterbirds as well as some species of frogs. You can see birds such as honeyeaters, lorikeets, red-rumped parrots, eastern rosellas, crested pigeons, galahs and corellas among the trees.

The park is an easy 350 metre stroll from the Kaniva Visitor Centre and there are nice walking tracks around the enclosed Fauna Park and the adjacent Wetlands. The walk takes approximately 40 minutes as a round trip from the Information Centre.

There is plenty of easy parking near the entrance, tables, BBQ and toilets.
