Hopetoun - Lake Lascelles
Beside Lake Lascelles there is a shelter with tables, BBQ and sink plus another shelter with tables and seat with views across the lake. Also a row of four unshaded tables and a boat ramp.
There is an unusual accommodation area at the Mallee Bush Retreat. The buildings are very interesting including a grain silo. There are two silos, two cow sheds, two machinery sheds, a stable, a grain store and the Shearing Shed is a function room and a camp kitchen.
Camping is free but there is a cost for powered sites and the accommodation buildings. The amenities block is available for non patrons of the Mallee Bush Retreat for a gold coin donation. Have a look around at the Aboriginal paintings which are displayed around the bush retreat.
