R.H.L Sparks Reserve Dog Off Leash Area (Box Hill)

The reserve is the home of the Box Hill Rugby Union Football Club. There is car parking off Canterbury Road and Middlesbrough Road at the south end and Albion Road at the north end.

There are bins near the pavilion at the south end. The reserve which is 480m long and 160m wide has large grassy areas with three rugby fields. On the far north field there is an area setup for archery (Box Hill City Archers). If archery is in progress the area is fenced off and signs put up such as "Caution - Archery in Progress". On the two long sides there are steep banks dotted with trees and Gardiners Creek runs along the west side.

There are toilets at the north end but they were closed when we visited on the weekend. This area also has a carpark and a water tap with bowl. There are huge water pipes with pits in the north east corner which form part of a flood retarding basin and this area should be avoided.
