Maple Reserve Dog Off Leash Area (Seaford)

Maple Reserve Dog Off Leash Area (Seaford)

The reserve is on the northern side of Maple Street. At the western end (across the road) is a good playground. The park has a shared pathway running through it which is part of the Peninsula Link Trail. From the western point of the area Belvedere Reserve is 1.1 km away to the east and the Seaford Wetlands are 0.5 km away in the other direction. There is a thin grassy strip on each side of the pathway with areas of trees. It stretches for a very long way and there are access points from Maple street and Brunel road.

There are a lot of bikes on the shared pathway and so the area is not good if your dog is distracted by riders or will try and chase them. On the other hand kids can follow their dog on bikes.

There are seats provided along the way but there are no water taps. The only bin is at the playground at the western end.
