Forest Hill Reserve Dog Off Leash Area (Forest Hill)

Forest Hill Reserve Dog Off Leash Area (Forest Hill)

A nice green oval which is fully fenced with some gates. The oval is the home to the Forest Hill Zebras Cricket and Football clubs. The toilets at the pavilion are locked and there is no water tap although there is a bin. Near the pavilion is a basic playground which is close to the car park for the Forest Hills pool. A square of grassy area is also located to the south of the pavilion.

There is a fairly extensive sloping grassy area north of the oval dotted with trees which is crossed by a drain, although if you were charitable you might call it an unnamed creek. This area has an old basketball / netball court. If you pass by the court to the east there is the Lernes Street Retarding Basin. The reserve has various entry points. Keep a watch out for the local resident who walks his pet sheep in the reserve and keep away from the butting head of that sheep.
