Review:

The Harrow Log Gaol, which is located at the eastern end of town, was built in 1859 from locally sawn logs and was used by police until 1869. On the site there is also the remains of a Cobb and Co stable, two unshaded picnic tables and Kalang Cottage which was built in 1876 and restored by the Historical Society. There are three rooms, two bedrooms and the living area with fireplace. All the interesting artefacts are labelled e.g. hand made walking stick, jelly mould, boot last, tobacco cutter and candle mould. There is an old fashioned dunny to show how things used to be for the older parents.
