The off-leash area is a long grassy block lined with trees between Herbert Street and Lucerne Avenue. There are fences on both sides and at the Herbert Street end. In this grassy area there is an unshaded table and seats. The off-leash area is about 125m long and 45m wide.
At the east end near Lucerne Avenue the off-leash area changes to an on-leash area and there is a reasonable playground which has an unshaded table and seats. There is also no fence at this end.
There are rubbish bins provided at both the Herbert Street and Lucerne Avenue ends.
In the playground area there is a water tap where someone has left a metal pan so that dogs can get a drink.
