RF Turner Memorial Playground, Old High Street, Golden Square
The reserve was named after a local councillor and mayor, Roy Francis (Dick) Turner. There is a sculpture of him plus a nice sculpture celebrating the role of women in the development of Bendigo.
The playground is in a grassy slice next to the Midland Highway with two unshaded tables and BBQ. A small fenced off area from the busy road forms the playground area which has a high spiral slide and swings. Toilets.
