Visit the Maude And Yellow Girl Mines treatment plants historic area with signage which makes for a nice picnic spot.
In 1904 the Yellow Girl mine produced about 29 kg of gold from 24 tonnes of ore.
This site is defintely not a "Blue Duck" which is the name given to a gold mining lease that produces no gold.
