Review:

The water play space is located at the east end of the park. There is a huge area of paths and channels for water to run along with sprays, water pumps, weirs and areas of smooth stones. Some areas also fill up with shallow water when all the pumps are actively used.

There are BBQs, unshaded tables, water taps and some shaded seating on rocks and grass. There is also a rock wall under a shade shelter. Generally the water play park is suited to younger kids who will enjoy the water sprays and managing the water flows. There isn't any high powered play equipment like a tipping water bucket.

The water play space is located next to a deep pond which is mainly surrounded by a fence but there are areas unprotected by the fence.

The Longwe Tree Sculpture stands near the pond. Longwe/longoi means canoe and the sculpture is a contemporary interpretation of the scarred tree's that the river country. It signifies the continued connection to country and culture over thousands of years and is a symbol of survival and resilience.
