The Eldorado Museum holds a collection that reflects the life and times from 1850-1950. The displays cover mining, farming and social history of Eldorado and surrounds and is housed in the old school building as well as in outside displays. The Eldorado Museum offers you an opportunity to step back in time and view life as it was from the time of the discovery of gold.
The displays include
- Mining history - Deep Lead, sluicing and dredging
- Cock's Eldorado Gold and Tin Dredge information
- War memorabilia
- Household and farming clothing, utensils, ornaments, books and tools
- Transport - farming, mining, general
- Farming machinery
- Some school, cemetery, lodge and church records for genealogy purposes
- Photos, documents and books

Entry prices are $3 for adults and $2 for school aged children. There are no concession or group rates.
