Mooroopna Historical Museum
The Historical Society of Mooroopna was established in 1983 to collect, preserve and display items of importance to the history of Mooroopna and District. We have recorded histories of families, individuals, businesses, organisations, industrial, agriculture and horticulture. We have early newspapers, maps, documents and heirloom clothes. Our building is the former Grutzner House nursing home and our medical collection is the largest in country Victoria.
Overall the museum has significant medical, war, sports, aboriginal and other collections.
