Victoria Park Lake All Abilities Playground, Tom Collins Drive, Shepparton

The fully fenced All Abilities playground is located next to Aquamoves Aquatic Centre. The playground is the best playground in the area after Kids Town and is based around a big wooden multi-level structure with lots of nooks and crannies. If you explore the structure hard enough you'll find a steep, fast metal slide, dual wave slides, cubbies, shop front, high ladder with horizontal circles for steps, tic-tac-toe, rope net, wooden in-built truck, abacus, steering wheel panel. On the top level there is a bow of a boat which overlooks the lake (with a telescope of course). At the base is a gravelly sandpit (think gravelly like Joe Cockers voice) which would benefit from the addition of a digger. This area has soft paths for access.

The remainder of the playground has some tiny slides for toddlers, standalone monkey bars and horizontal bar, some music panels, medium sized rope pyramid climbing frame, spinning donut (don't go to the playground hungry), stand-on spinner, swing with plastic seat and four standard swings.

Shelter with a table and BBQ, another shelter with table, water tap, unshaded seats, toilets, shelter over grass and some limited grassy area. You will probably experience wildlife ranging from galahs to midges if our visit is anything to go by. Outside is a long suspension bridge over the Goulburn River which is wobbly when you walk on it. Car access to Tom Collins Drive is blocked from the south end at Fitzjohn Street.
