Melbourne & Olympic Parks, comprising around 40 hectares, came into existence in 1995 and as the name suggests, is the product of joining together two distinct sites; Melbourne Park and Olympic Park.

As well as hosting an extensive range of events such as the Australian Open tennis Grand Slam, national and international rugby, football, rugby league, netball and basketball, as well as high profile music concerts and family shows, Melbourne & Olympic Parks is the administrative and training home to various sporting organisations and professional clubs.

Located 5 minutes walk from Melbourne's CBD and separated from the Botanic Gardens by the Yarra River, Melbourne & Olympic Parks comprises:
