Signal Open Artspace (Central Melbourne)

Signal is a creative arts studio for young people 13 to 25. At Signal, you work alongside professional artists in a collaborative way. Located in the heart of the city, Signal is a place for making, showing, inspiring and developing Melbourne's creative young talent - in every medium. Signal is open to young people from all walks of life and ability - you don't need any experience to take part at Signal.

Signal facilities include:

a workshop space
a multi purpose (performance or gallery) space
a computer and multimedia hub
Les Erdi Plaza for live events
projective windows for multimedia works
an 18-speaker sound walk for sound-based artworks

Opening Hours:

Signal is open every Wednesday to Saturday 1pm to 5pm.

Signal location - Signal is right in the heart of the city: behind Flinders Street Station on Northbank, in the Les Erdi Plaza, at the northern end of Sandridge Bridge, and at the top of Banana Alley.
