Inverloch - Bunurong Environment Centre
We offer a range of holiday activities to capture the interest and imagination of both parents and children. All expertly lead and organised by our Bunurong Coast Education officers. Reef walking, dinosaur discovery, spot-lighting, and more.
The Shop
The Book and Gift Shop sells a great collection of books for children and adults, science kits, toys, art, environmentally friendly soaps, diaries, cards, backpacks, bags, ornaments and more.
The Discovery Room
The Discovery Room is a welcoming space for learning more about our local plants, animals and dinosaurs, with exhibits and touch-tables. It is also available for hire for events, meetings and presentations.
The Shell Museum
The Shell Museum holds one of the world's best collections of shells, with over 6,000 specimens of Australian and local shells, shell toyhouses, giant crabs, corals, sharks' jaws and more.
Leaflets
The Environment Centre provides a range of free leaflets on local attractions and interests. You can also download many of our publications and print them out yourself.
Children's Activities
You can download a large range of games and puzzle sheets, as well as a free book on environmental activities around Inverloch, with identification charts, maps, nature trails and information for parents.
Bush Pantry
Wattle seed icecream, anyone? Bracken ointment? A cumbungi bag? Terri Allen describes some local plants that were used by Indigenous people for food, fibre and medicine.
