Goulburn Park Playground, Progress Street, Seymour

Goulburn Park Playground, Progress Street, Seymour

An interesting park with the most striking feature being a huge concrete basin which looks like it hasn't had water in it for a lot of years. There are two playground areas about 60m apart. The more basic area has a low structure with various ladders, climber bridge with half circles, balance beam and monkey rungs. Beside this is a small toddler structure with slide, steps and fireman's pole. This area also has a four person see-saw and swings.

The area for older kids has a traversing structure with flying fox, hanging disks and monkey rungs, a separate structure with chain ladders and spiral ladder, swings, see-saw, surfboard springer, stand-on spinner and nice double sided climbing wall.

There is a sound stage with nice mural of the Seymour area, toilets, shaded BBQ, grassy area, unshaded tables and located next to a big lagoon with water birds.
