Review:

Definitely a case of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

The good things about this trampoline centre are the provision of free cold water and the large soft blocks in the free jumping area which makes jumping more interesting. There is music blaring out of speakers which we liked but others felt it was too obtrusive.

The bad - parking spaces are very tight and limited but there was an option when we visited of parking in the neighbouring streets.

There are no performance trampolines available.

The entrance area has 18 small square tables, some of which were joined together. This should be enough tables but when we arrived we had to stand around until a table became free.

The colour scheme is black with purple / orange. I personally like this colour combination and my favourite sleeping bag has these colours. However, it made the Centre a bit dark and depressing.

The ugly aspect has to be the rotation system which we hated. There are four zones (free jump court, slam dunk court, foam pit and dodgeball) and you are forced to spend 15 minutes in a designated zone before moving onto the next zone. This means that your precious hour can be taken up in activities that you don't particularly like. For example, we don't like slam dunk and typically we spend about three minutes in an hour at the basketball section. It's VERY irritating when you have to spend a quarter of your time there.

Another very ugly episode occurred when we had the gall to try to try and economise and use jump socks from another trampoline centre. We were swiftly told that we were not allowed to jump in these socks and had to go and buy their own socks if we wanted to jump in the Centre. This process wasted five minutes of our jumping time. The reason for having to buy their socks - brand recognition disguised as another way of extracting money from their customers.

The free jumping area is composed of trampolines which are all the same size plus two long thin lanes. There are nine lines of trampolines which are five trampolines deep. There were also three big blocks which you can jump up to and down from. You can also bounce off the slanted walls. It would be better to have some larger trampolines to practice flips on since these felt a bit small for someone who was still hesitant about doing flips.

The Slam Dunk area had four short lanes with each lane having a basket at different heights. The whole area was busy and felt cramped compared to other centres.

There are three Dodgeball courts. One advantage of the rotation system is that you will be able to find someone to play Dodgeball with.

The Foam Pit has six fairly short trampolines which slope down at the end to the foam blocks. You enter and leave the foam pit from the same side which slows the pace of jumping.

There are about six Birthday rooms which are basically white cubes without any decoration.

There were 30 lockers which can be hired and 16 open shelves where you can put belongings.

In summary, if the rotation system appeals then this place could be suitable, otherwise, if you like the freedom to move between areas as you choose, then avoid this place like the plague.
