Visitors to Bacchus Marsh should make the Bacchus Marsh Visitor Information Centre their first stop. The friendly and helpful staff will be more than happy to welcome you to this beautiful town and introduce you to the attractions that it holds; the Avenue of Honour, bush walks, aerial sightseeing, forest parks, wildflowers, eagles, national and state parks and much more.

Set amid picturesque rolling hills only 55km west of Melbourne, Bacchus Marsh combines country living with easy access to the city. An attractive mix of open spaces, friendly towns, orchards, deep gorges and forests, Bacchus Marsh is a great tourist destination.

Not to be missed destinations include the Werribee Gorge, Lerderderg Gorge, Brisbane Ranges and the Long Forest Nature Reserve which is the southern most remnant of mallee vegetation in Victoria.

Opening Hours:


Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am - 4pm. Closed Good Friday and Christmas Day.
