Come and explore the Otways! Enjoy the spectacular natural scenery, mighty timbers and magnificent waterfalls, the lush green hills that roll down to long stretches of sandy beaches of the Great Ocean Road, the volcanic lakes, craters and wetlands of the Otway Hinterland. Here you will find something for everyone to enjoy. The region encompasses the major town Colac and smaller villages that include Gellibrand, Forrest, Birregurra, Cressy, Beeac, Beech Forest and Lavers Hill. There are also the seaside hamlets of Wye and Kennett River, Cape Otway, Johanna Beach and the relaxed beach resort of Apollo Bay.

Plenty of nature based activities to experience including Forrest Mountain bike trails, Old Beechy Rail Trail, Great Ocean Walk, water falls, bush walks, Otway Fly Tree Top Walk, bird watching, platypus tours, fishing and horse riding. There are also a series of unique trails throughout the Otways. These walks and tours incorporate heritage, wildlife, attractions, food and wine and scenic views.

There are plenty of accommodation options to suit your personal taste and budget.

At the information centre is a table and a free BBQ.
