Local events and festivals include hamilton cup in april along with the Southern Grampians promenade of sacred music. In June is the Hamilton eisteddfod and in Auguest Hamilton residents celebrate sheepvention.

Hamilton and Grampians host 'Party with the Ponies during December along side the Hamilton Christmas Expo.
