The Music Playground baby classes are one of the best experiences for developing your baby's genuine love for music. My one year old has been going to classes since he was 5 months old and he loves music! Music has become part of his daily play at home. It is a joy to watch and encourage his exploration of music and sound with music toys at home. We've been delighted with dancing, singing and playing instruments daily. The classes are welcoming, positive and encouraging, with small numbers, parental involvement and lovely teachers. Every child gets a turn.. I love that it is ok for your child to have a watching turn or for mums to sit on the couch and breast feed and it is lovely to watch the other little ones grow and develop over time. Start yours young!

My daughter Katya Eva, who is 19 1/2 months, has just completed her first term at the Music Playground Williamstown and it has exceeded my expectations.
The programme is exquisite. The hour goes so quickly and flows so nicely due to it being so well organised, interesting and fun. It is a fascinating twist on so many things that my daughter is exposed to and attends, it is a superior music programme, less chaotic and more focused than other music programmes we have attended in the past.
The standard of the instruments is very high, it is a clean, comfortable environment and we both really enjoy and look forward to going and participating.
Katrina and Sherry are so wonderful with my little girl, very respectful, caring and professional.
We will be continuing with the programme right through until Katya is 3 when we look forward to introducing her to the piano and violin. The next 18 months will continue to be a great introduction to her appreciating and respecting music and so many other skills that are learnt and cultivated during the Suzuki Music classes.
I highly recommend the wonderful space and environment which the Music Playground Williamstown provides.

We love the classes! My daughter and I have been attending and I can truly see how she has improved in music and how much she enjoys the classes. The classes are taught so children learn music the fun way. The classes also give children exposure to various musical instruments, which is great. And the group format also enables my daughter to learn from other children and she gets more motivated to learn too. The classes involve parents too, and I like that because the children learn from their parents too, parents know what their children are learning and can help their children learn at home. Last but not least, a wonderful program can only be successful when there is a wonderful teacher.

I have been taking my 4 months old son to the music group and it is our/my favourite activity of the week.It has been great to see the gradual growth in his confidence in meeting adults and children, the awareness of sounds and thank you for helping to find my 'singing voice'! I can't speak highly enough of the group. Thank you Katrina.

Wonderful experience for both the babies/toddlers and their parents. We all learn a lot and have fun.

We have been going to these classes for a year (starting when our daughter was 16 weeks old). It has been a fantastic experience. Both our children love the classes which not only educate them about music but teach them more subtle skills such as listening, taking turns and participating in a group. Both teachers are excellent at encouraging children too in a fun and caring environment.

My daughters have been taking weekly music lessons with Katrina since 2004. She has a real passion for music which is evident in her own studies and training. Katrina has a strong commitment to her students and patiently guides and encourages them. I believe that if it wasn't for Katrina my daughters would have dropped music a long time ago. The girls now continuously incorporate music into their homework time as opposed to computer games. The girls growing love of music is a tribute to Katrina.

I have been loving taking my now five month old son to The Music Playground since he was a few months old. It is amazing to see his growing attention and responses to the sounds and actions. The child participation focus using various instruments is wonderful.
