Hyde Street Youth Brass Band (Footscray)
The Hyde Street Youth Brass band is a community band in Footscray.
We encourage kids up to the age of 18 to join, and also include a training band for kids who are primary school age or older.
The Hyde Street Youth Band offers two youth oriented music ensembles in the traditional British 'brass band' style, these being the main band and the Training Band
Each year we perform at any number of events and competitions, including but not limited to: ANZAC Day march Melbourne, Bendigo Bands competition, Western Bulldogs community day and The Seddon Festival.
Opening Hours:
We rehearse on Wednesdays during school term in the Footscray-Yarraville band room in Hyde St. between the Primary School and Town Hall.
