Millbank Drive Trail (Deer Park)

Millbank Drive Trail (Deer Park)

The 3.8km Millbank Drive Walking Track has great rocky escarpments, large pools of water and an abundance of wildlife including ducks, swans and geese. Many large gum trees border the walking track providing shady areas to sit down and watch the world go by.

Keep an eye out for the two conservation areas which contain many rare and endangered plant species. A number of playgrounds and ample seating along the circuit make this walk an ideal family activity.

At the start of the walk, at 2 Millbank Drive, Deer Park, there's a carpark, water tap with bowl and bin.

Take the path up to Station Road, cross the bridge and walk beside the road to get to the south side of Kororoit Creek. At the bus stop there is a track between the houses. Follow the track to the bank of Kororoit Creek and the main trail.

Kororoit Creek changes in colour and width depending on which drain is emptying water into the creek.

At the northern end of the walk, there is a fenced dog park, playground and facilities such as shelter, tables, BBQs and water tap.

At the playground, cross the bridge to get to the other side of the creek. The remaining part of the walk runs parallel to Millbank Drive. The path passes a playground.

The first half of the walk is more interesting than the second half because you are walking much closer to the creek.
