Maroondah Federation Estate Gallery (Ringwood)

Maroondah Federation Estate Gallery (Ringwood)

Formerly known as Maroondah Access Gallery, and located within the cultural centre at Maroondah Federation Estate in Ringwood, Maroondah Federation Estate Gallery offers constantly changing exhibitions with a community focus.

The purpose of the Maroondah City Council Art Collection is to create a resource of culturally and artistically significant art that enriches the community through interpretative display. Exhibitions of the Collection can provide meaningful experiences, a place for contemplation and creative inspiration.

The Maroondah City Council Art Collection was formed as a result of the amalgamation of Croydon and Ringwood in 1994. The core collection represents the region's long-standing involvement in the visual arts, especially with respect to painting in all mediums. The Collection now comprises over 400 art works in a variety of media including painting, works on paper, sculpture, ceramics and glass.

There is a changing display of the art collection for the community to enjoy in Gallery 2 at Maroondah Federation Estate.
