Groovy goose was established in 2009 by a young Adelaide mother of two energetic pre-schoolers. Originally a portrait photographer, she soon discovered that working around the schedules of her children, and other people, would make commercial photography very difficult. With an artistic flair and a good eye for designs and colour, she set about designing some unique canvas art to add a little bit of individual spark to her own kids' rooms. Before she knew it, she had a range of canvas art and canvas display boards to liven up any child's bedroom or playroom, and groovy goose was born (or hatched).
The range quickly grew from canvas art products to stationery too. As any mum of young children knows, spare time is hard to find, and browsing the shelves for birthday cards with young children in tow is not always fun. groovy goose began creating a range of handcrafted greeting cards, including matching cards for all the canvas works. All the hard work is done...gift and card taken care of...we can even do the wrapping for you too!
At groovy goose we understand the busy lifestyle of young parents short on time but who want high quality, individual products for their own homes or as a personalised gift for someone special.
We also understand that parents love to have uniquely themed and fun parties for their kids but, again, time is short. We've created a range of bright and fun party invitations to cater for any fairy, car, dinosaur or 'Under the Sea' party out there! groovy goose does all the hard work, all you have to do is send out the invitations (and clean up the mess after the party).
