Gowanbrae Community Reserve Playground, Vanderloo Road, Gowanbrae
This is a playground which makes use of the magnificent views across the valley to the huge trestle bridge and city skyline. Structure with spiral slide, chain ladder, telescope, inclined rope cage bridge, curved inclined climber, curved slide, climbing walls, small inclined tunnel, steering wheel panel, shop front, abacus and pipes to hit a clanger against to make sweet music (just don't ask the deafened parents for confirmation of that).
There is a see-saw and six swings with a fantastic view (and quite a frightening experience if you swing high and get a sensation of swinging over the valley).
Shelter with two tables and BBQs. Unshaded tables and seats, water tap and limited area with artificial grass. Near a car parking area for the Community Centre. There is an outdoor gym.
