Sale Common, River Heritage and Wetlands Trail
The internationally listed Sale Common wetlands include freshwater marshes and red gum woodlands with an enormous variety of birdlife (over 135 species of migratory birds)that you can see from the boardwalk.

Distance: 15km return, can be broken into sections
Grade: No experience required.
Getting there: Sale Common is on South Gippsland Highway (A440), just south of Sale. You can commence the walk from a number of points including the Port of Sale, Lake Guthridge and South Gippsland Highway near Cox's Bridge.
