Bounce Inc (Glen Iris)

Fly though the air and bounce off the walls. Bounce is a massive indoor trampoline universe and Freerun Terrain Park all about jumping high and landing soft and safe.

Facilities in the Centre include:

Free-Jumping Arena - The Free-Jumping Arena is Bounce's main stage – with over 50 interconnected trampolines incorporating a series of longer tumble tracks and angled banked walls. String together jumping lines as you leap from tramp to tramp and rebound off the corners.

The Wall - It steps things up to the next level. It’s our most awesome feature – kind of like a half pipe made out of trampolines. Use the high-rebound capabilities of Performance Trampolines and run up The Wall.

Slam Dunk - This area features full-height rings sitting above runway trampolines, surrounded by padded walls and floor mats. Try the simple approach first. Three jumps to build your bounce height, then slam it! Add in some moves – maybe around the back or through the legs. Get creative and go for style points.

Big Bag - It provides a massive soft landing spot for your aerial endeavours. Lying at the end of a rebound tumble track, the giant inflatable bag sits in a five-foot-deep pit. Start with simple jumps then get as technical as you like.

Dodgeball courts – the ultimate trampoline Colosseum where two teams throw soft ‘bowling ball’ sized dodgeballs at each other as they jump around the court. The art is using your vertical bounce and the full expanse of the play arena to dodge the balls. Keep moving (upwards or sideways) and avoid a direct hit while you take the other team out one by one. Last player bouncing wins.

Performance trampolines - This area is often used by athletes pursuing advanced performance around sports such skiing, snowboarding, wake-boarding and skate boarding etc. It’s also a training ground for dedicated trampoline sports. With Olympic grade trampolines, it’s a great way to improve your skill levels if you’ve had enough practise in our free jumping arena.

Super Tramp - This 5×5 metre monster is the ultimate aerials platform offering extra height and bounce, plus a massive surface area for mastering off -axis tricks.

Freerun Terrain Park - An adventure challenge course combining elements of climbing, jumping and free-running into an epic urban playground. The course includes aspects of Parkour and Ninja Warrior. Each element can be explored as a stand-alone challenge or navigated as one circuit. Ultimately, the aim is to get from the start to the end of the course in the fastest and most awesome way possible.

The Terrain Park incorporates 14 different elements with varying routes for beginners through to experts. The elements include a Parkour course, a series of free-spinning rollers to traverse, monkey bar traverse, Spider Climb negotiating your way between two Perspex walls, Curved Wall, Tri-Station with a gymnastics beam, slackline or cargo net to scale the 20 foot gap, the iconic Ninja Warrior Warped Walls challenge, Bouldering Wall, Wedge Run, Sea of Pipes (navigate your way through the sea of suspended pipes), Vault Run (a chain of trampolines and vaults), Rings (swing your way from one end of the course to the other on the gymnastic-grade rings), Trapeze (a counter-weighted trapeze course) and a Zipline. Minimum 125cm height required for all participants in this area.

Review:

In order to give trampoline centres an edge, they need to add some extra features over and above the standard free jumping area, slam dunk, foam pit and dodgeball. Bounce at Glen Iris has done this in style with the addition of a Freerun Terrain Park which incorporates 14 different elements including Parkour and Ninja Warrior obstacles. This area is a great addition but please note that there is a minimum height of 125cm required for all participants in this area.

Birthday packages are very flexible at this location and there are a lot of birthday rooms.

Disappointed      Posted:    12:33 PM May 11, 2013

What a waste of time and money! My kids spent half the time waiting in line. Then because they hadn't got a bracelet for the second hour we had return to the registers to collect them. 10 minutes wasted in the second hour because they stuffed up! Very disorganised! Won't be back
