Love 2 Learn (Canterbury)

Little Learners Love Literacy is a specially designed Australian literacy program aimed at getting children ready for a successful start at school. Little Learners Love Literacy is designed to give children the skills to start reading and writing. It incorporates specially designed resources and materials, and it is tailored to specifically meet the needs of pre-schoolers.

Love 2 Learn aims to teach the children:

alphabet sounds
to learn the basics of reading
recognise letters
correct sound production/articulation
correct writing of the letters
how to share
classroom skills

Literacy is too important not to make sure the ground work is in place. Children who start well, end well. Your child will not only gain the phonemic awareness skills essential for learning to read, they will also focus on producing the sounds correctly in a fun, and engaging group setting with others their own age.

The program is multi sensory and uses music, craft, drama and games to teach the alphabet sounds, blending these sounds to make words, handwriting and much more.
