Mariposa Way Playground, Tarneit
The playground has the theme of the life cycle of a butterfly running through it which includes a big shelter with a butterfly shaped roof, butterfly and chrysalis sculptures and seats with giant caterpillars. The main structure has dual wave slides, climbing wall, chain bridge, disks on vertical poles, twisted climbing sheet, walkways, flying fox, monkey rungs, ladder, climbing mat wall, tic-tac-toe, shop front, abacus, fireman's pole, little tunnel and curved slide. Swings including one with a big plastic seat, springer, big green caterpillar and pentagonal frame with five swing seats (one with safety chain).
Basketball court. Huge shelter with tables, water tap, BBQ, unshaded seats and grassy area.
