Payne's Orchards is one of the few genuine small family orchards left in Australia. Visit us to pick-your-own farm fresh fruit. Nothing compares to the taste of ripe, juicy fruit straight from the trees!

Located only 40 minutes from Melbourne, near the Western Freeway on the way to Ballarat.

Buckets are provided and there is assistance to find the fruit you like.

Fruit Availability:


Cherries, berries, nectarines, plums, apricots and peaches are available in Summer and a variety of apples are available in Autumn. The fruit season goes from approximately December to May. There is no fruit during Winter and Spring.

The availability of the fruit is typically:
Cherries - November December
Sour Cherries - Late December
Berries - December January February
Apricots - January February
Peaches and nectarines - January February
Apples - March April May

Opening Hours:


Paynes Orchards open almost daily in the main fruit season - typically 10am-3pm.

Closed some main public holidays and in bad weather. In busy times we may have to close once ripe fruit becomes sold out. Check updated opening times.

Cost:


Entry is $5 (little children no charge) and fruit is priced per kg. Cherries are $6-15 depending on type and apples are around $4 per kg.
