The playground is a feature of the fantastic Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne. It is about a 400m walk to the playground area from the car park.

The original playground has been retained and a super nature play area has been added. The original playground area, set in four large sandpits, has two pyramid rope climbing frames connected together, inclined rope net leading to a metal slide, spinning donut, stand-on spinner and spinner to hold on with your arms, see-saw, three-person seesaw, two springers and a little stand-on spinner. Two unshaded seats look over this Arabian desert of sand.

The new area has two huge hammocks in a frame, concrete pad with huge animal footprints (which have filled with water to make a perfect breeding ground for mosquitoes). Also, surrounded by lots of sand, are stepper logs, lots of rock circuits, shaded hammock, wooden cubbies, birds nest swing and rope obstacle course. This area has two tables and BBQs and another mosquito breeding pad

There is a massive shade structure with four tables, four BBQs and seats along the side. Nearby is a water tap and toilets.
